TikTok Ads, run by people who read the numbers every day.

We are a small performance marketing team. We plan, launch and optimise TikTok Ads campaigns for e-commerce sellers — currently focused on TikTok Shop merchants selling into North America, mostly in the beauty and personal care category.

What we do

Campaign management

Account structure, audience and placement strategy, budget pacing, and day-to-day optimisation through client-authorised TikTok advertising workflows.

Creative iteration

Producing and testing short-form video, then feeding what the data says back into the next round rather than guessing.

Daily reporting

We review spend and returns, explain changes, and agree next steps with each client. Reporting frequency is set by the engagement.

Delivery & stock checks

We review available billing information and client-provided inventory alongside campaign performance. Automated alerts are planned where authorised data is available.

How we handle advertising data

We use official advertising APIs to collect authorised performance data and support our internal reporting workflow. We build and host our own tool, adpilot, for our agency's client-authorised accounts. Access to the tool is limited to our internal team.

adpilot currently focuses on reporting. We plan to expand it to manage GMV Max campaigns, budgets, ROI targets, delivery status, creatives and audiences, and execute user-configured automated rules with action logs. Direct creator-account insights and authorisation integrations are planned separately for a later stage. These management features are in development and will be enabled only after the required API permissions are approved, the implementation is ready, and the client has authorised the relevant actions.

Three things worth stating plainly:

Authorised access and actions. Current API use is for reporting. The planned management tools will operate only on authorised assets and within the limits agreed with the client. Automated actions will follow client-approved rules.

Self-hosted. The tool runs on a server we control, hosted in Japan. Advertising data is not sent to any third-party analytics or data broker.

The client owns their data. We access an advertising account only while its owner has authorised us to, and that authorisation can be withdrawn at any time from their own Business Center.

adpilot is open source and can be inspected at github.com/maihb/adpilot. Client data never lives in that repository — it stays in our own database.
